When the mind is free

I hold no grudge

No rancour in my heart

I just do my duty

I just play my part

For life's way too short

To sit back and moan

It’s there for me to cherish

It’s for me to own

I crave not what I have not

My mind is therefore free

And every day I think of those

Less fortunate than me.
